Catherina Van Coillie, Founder and President

Belgian-born Catherina Van Coillie has followed her inspiration around the world. She has lived with the Aborigines in the Australian Outback, in the shadow of a Hawaiian volcano and in the winter snow of Lake Tahoe. She has traveled to all five continents and lived in three. Catherina has worked extensively in America as a producer on documentaries, travelogues and photo shoots. After years working in Los Angeles, in 2001 Catherina relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where she launched the production company, Mediterranean Impulse, dba Studio M.

In 1995, Catherina founded Yahooo Adventures, a personalized travel and adventure company in which she honed her project and people management skills. According to Cat, “We have adrenaline for breakfast and everlasting friendship for dessert.”

She is a licensed pilot and skipper, and a certified diver.
